BIG: Northern Third Ward Unity Blocks
Becoming a BIG Leader:
We envisioned together, and now we must act together. As a Block Captain, you are a critical component in uniting the neighborhood and maximizing available resources in the community.
All Unity BIG leaders must live within the Northern Third Ward Focus Area.
Responsibilities:
Spread the Word
Ensure that each individual household on the block receives and has access to available resources.
Be an Advocate
Voice block and resident concerns to community organizations and reporting unsafe block conditions to appropriate city agencies.
Build Community
Organize social gatherings and clean-ups on the block catalyzing new resident relationships, leading to a stronger community network.
Stay Connected
Ensure that each individual household on the block receives and has access to available resources.
