B.I.G.(Block Improvement Group) Vision: Northern Third Ward residents make up a community network that is informed, connected, actively engaged and empowered to organize and improve the physical and social fabric of the community, block by block.
As a BIG Leader, you are a critical component in uniting the neighborhood and maximizing available resources in the community.
All BIG Leaders must live within the Northern Third Ward Focus Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Spread the Word
Ensure that each individual household on the block receives and has access to available resources.
-Be an Advocate
Voice block and resident concerns to community organizations and reporting unsafe block conditions to appropriate city agencies.
-Stay Connected
Attend monthly neighborhood-wide BIG leader Forums to stay informed on what's going on in the neighborhood.
-Build Community
Organize social gatherings and clean-ups on the block, catalyzing new resident relationships leading to a stronger community network.
